Projects

To find projects, click the “Projects” menu item at the top

Project Map

  1. Drag and zoom into the desired area using your mouse or finger and the + or - button

  2. Click the project icon
  3. Click the pop-up to go to the Project Snapshot page

Project Search Filters

You can filter the list of projects in one or more ways, including name, active/pipeline, province, sector, stage or government level.

Click the first letter of the project's name

Click the desired button to filter by active (in procurement, under construction, operational) or pipeline (announced, planned) projects

Select the province in which the project(s) is/are located

Click the desired sector(s)

Click the desired project stage(s)

Click the desired government level(s)

Click Apply Filters

Click Reset Filters to clear all the filters

Click the header of the desired Project card to see the full details of that project

Site Search - Projects

Search for a project by name:

  1. Click the “Search” button at the top right of your screen
  2. Enter a keyword from the name of the project and click the search button

Partners

To find partners, click the “Partners” menu item at the top

Partner Search Filters

You can filter the list of partners in one or more ways, including name, province, sector worked in, type of partner or expertise.

Click the first letter of the partner's name

Select the province in which the partner has projects

Select the sector(s) in which the partner has projects

Select type of partner (public or private)

Select the expertise of the partner

Click Apply Filters

Click Reset Filters to clear all the filters

Click the header of the desired Partner card to see details on that partner

Site Search - Partners

Search for a partner by name:

  1. Click the “Search” button at the top right of your screen
  2. Enter a keyword from the name of the partner and click the search button

Partner Relationships

Click the Relationships button on the project card to view all the partners or bidders related to the project


Graph

To view the graphs, click the “Graph” menu item at the top

Projects by Stage

  1. Click the desired graph to show projects in procurement, under construction, operational
  2. Click the respective button to graph by province or government level

  3. Select the desired province or government level in the drop-down box

Projects by Financial Close Date

  1. Click the respective button to display results by province or year
  2. Select the "from" and "to" financial close dates using the date picker or by entering it manually

Projects by Capital Cost or Agreement Cost

Enter the "from" and "to" capital/agreement cost values or use the sliders to adjust the lower and upper amounts.

Saving Graphs

You can save your custom graph as a PNG graphic file for use in presentations or reports.

Click the download button at the top right of the graph and save the file


Advanced Search & Export

The Advanced Search screen allows you to filter projects by multiple parameters and create custom lists for exporting.

Filter the Project List for Export

Click the desired button to filter by active (in procurement, under construction, operational) or pipeline (announced, planned) projects

Select a desired province from the drop-down list

Select a desired government level from the drop-down list

Click the desired button for the project's current stage

Select the "from" and "to" financial close date by using the date picker or entering dates manually

Enter the desired "from" and "to" capital cost values or use the sliders to choose the lower and upper values

Enter the desired "from" and "to" agreement cost values or use the sliders to choose the lower and upper values

Click Apply Filters

Click Reset Filters to clear all the filters

Select Desired Projects to Export

Select the individual projects or click the box at the top of the column to select all projects

Select Desired Fields to Export

  1. Click each section using the + button and select the desired fields for export
  2. Click the "Export to Excel" button
  3. Type a name for the TSV file

Exporting Data & Importing into Excel

Exporting TSV

You can export the data from several places using the TSV export button located at the top right corner of the screen.

  • Project Search
  • Relationships
  • Project Profile
  • Partner Profile
  • Who's Connected to Who
  • Advanced Search

Importing into Excel

When opening the TSV file for the first time, you need to associate the TSV file format with MS Excel:

  1. Open File Explorer
  2. Locate the TSV file you downloaded
  3. Right click on the file
  4. Select "Open with" and choose "Microsoft Excel"

To open TSV files after associating them with Excel:

  1. Open File Explorer
  2. Double click the file

Note: Opening the file in Excel directly will result in a change in layout and fields will not line up properly.


Sharing

You can share any screen by clicking the "Share" menu item at the top.

Email

A new email message will be created that links to the page. Just add a recipient and edit the subject and message body as desired

LinkedIn

A new LinkedIn post will be created that links to the page. Just enter the update and choose who to share it with

Twitter

A new tweet will be created that links to the page. Just edit the tweet and share it with your followers.

Facebook

A new Facebook post will be created that links to the page. Just edit the post and share it with your followers.


Login & Member Account

A CCPPP member account gives you access to all areas of P3 SPECTRUM.

Login

If you already have a CCPPP member account, which is also used for access to member-only features on pppcouncil.ca, click the "Member Login" menu item at the top of the page

Create an Account

If you are an employee of a CCPPP member organization and need to create an account to access the member-only features of P3 SPECTRUM, click the "More" and "Register" menu items at the top of the page.

You will then be taken to a sign-up form to create an account. If your email is already registered, you can request a password reset.

Reset Password

If you have forgotten your password or are accessing your CCPPP member account for the first time, you will need to initiate a password reset:

  1. Go to the Sign In page
  2. Click the "Forgot my password" link
  3. Enter your email address
  4. An email will be sent to you with a link to create a new password
